In this role as an Entry Level Technical Enablement Specialist, you will gain exposure to enterprise-class systems, modern automation, and hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to performance testing and IT economics studies.
  • Contribute to IBM Z and LinuxONE capacity and performance studies.
  • Design, deploy, and ensure readiness of infrastructure supporting IBM Z and LinuxONE technology, including networking and storage environments.
  • Design and build client-ready demos, workshops, and labs focusing on IBM Z and LinuxONE hardware and software.
  • Coordinate speaker preparation, event materials, track attendance and engagement, and compile reporting on events.
  • Provide scheduling, meeting coordination, and follow-up support for Z Skills program workstreams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Flexible, self-starter mindset to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Foundational Linux knowledge.
  • Basic understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, or databases.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn enterprise technology.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Foundational IBM Z and LinuxONE knowledge.
  • Familiarity with agile development practices.
  • Programming experience.
  • Experience with automation.
  • Knowledge of containerization.
  • Exposure to data science and AI.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Program/project management experience.
  • Experience with metrics and data tracking for program reporting.
