Albizu University is seeking qualified applicants for the faculty and program coordinator position for the Master's Program in Industrial and Organizational Psychology academic program in Miami. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and coordinating program activities. This position is contributing to a dynamic and innovative academic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and teach engaging and effective course content for graduate students in the Master's Program in Industrial and Organizational Psychology both modalities, On-Campus and Online, academic program.
- Oversee all aspects of program administration, including curriculum development, scheduling, and student advising.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback to support academic growth and success.
- Engage in scholarly research and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of psychology.
- Lead all areas of the program development, collaborating closely with faculty, staff, and administration to enhance program quality and student outcomes.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, committees, and community outreach initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and support to students in their academic and professional development.
- Recruit, hire, and train adjunct faculty to ensure high-quality instruction and support for the program.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree: required, Doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, PsyD, etc.) preferred in a relevant discipline or area of course content.
- Strong skills: with the ability to stay current with the latest trends and best practices in psychology.
- Excellent collaboration: and communication skills, with the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- Familiarity: with accreditation standards and accessibility guidelines in higher education.
- Proven experience: in teaching at the higher education level, preferably in both, on-ground and online, formats.
- Strong organizational skills: and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability: to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-modality environment.
