Automotive Used Car Service Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that the used car manager is informed of additional service needs and complete the online multi-point inspection report
• Execute repairs under manufacturer specifications

Required Qualifications

• Must have at least 3-5 years of experience as an auto technician
• Must be willing to work on all makes and models
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Must have diagnostic skills
• Automotive air conditioning experience is required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team player attitude
• Computer literate
• Must be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver's license
• High School Diploma

The Company may also request information from various public and private sources, including details on workers' compensation injuries, driving records, court records, education, credentials, credit, references, and drug testing. This process will be conducted in compliance with applicable law.
