Position Overview
Serotonin is the leading breakthrough marketing and communications partner for digital asset companies, working with top businesses and entrepreneurs in the industry. We blend deep expertise in financial services, digital assets, and decentralizing technologies to empower innovators. In this role, you will serve as our Social Media Manager—leading, developing, and executing effective organic social media strategies, collaborating closely with PR, Content, and Branding teams while reporting to the Social Media Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the social media strategy, operations, and execution for 3-5 Serotonin clients.
- Adapt messaging with multiple tonalities—from informative to humorous—in line with each client’s branding.
- Leverage data and social media marketing tools to analyze weaknesses and grow both internal Serotonin and client brands.
- Maintain a consistent understanding and pulse on current events within the web3 ecosystem.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Director, SVP of Content, Community, and Social, and client Marketing Directors to proactively ideate new social opportunities.
- Create and maintain account management systems to operationalize scheduling, posting, and engagement.
- Work closely with content and community teams to plan and execute owned marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with PR, events, community, marketing, and growth teams to ensure messaging consistency.
- Strategize, operate, and execute additional social media activities such as Twitter Spaces, AMAs, giveaways, and growth campaigns.
- Stay well-versed in the social strategies of other technology and product teams.
Required Qualifications
- A passion for crypto—with a strong curiosity and willingness to learn more about the industry.
- Deep industry knowledge with firsthand experience using web3 apps and an understanding of social-first viral campaigns.
- Experience creating high-volume content for platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and familiarity with LI, IG, YouTube, TikTok, and Warpcast.
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end social media operations—from posting to analytics and social listening.
- A genuine team player who excels at both independent initiative and collaborative projects.
- The ability to balance evergreen content, product marketing, and creative campaigns with agility.
- Interest or experience in founder-led social media and a drive to innovate.
- Technical aptitude with a thirst for knowledge across various digital tools and platforms.
- An open mind with the ability to take feedback and execute creatively.
- An unquenchable thirst for crafting compelling, creative content that simplifies products, converts and engages audiences, and fuels growth.
- Experience or interest in creating multimedia content using cutting-edge AI tools and industry-standard software like Adobe Photoshop.
- Capability to craft technically accurate and compelling narratives across various formats—from Twitter threads on ZK proofs to engaging AI-generated videos.
