Position Overview

AECOM, a global leader in infrastructure consulting, is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join their Orlando, Florida office. In this role, you will work alongside experienced senior-level Structural Engineers to design and develop technical structural solutions, ensuring compliance with engineering standards. This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work under the supervision and direct responsible charge of senior-level Structural Engineers.
  • Perform engineering-related structural design using both hand and computer calculations.
  • Develop technical specifications, plans, elevations, sections, and details.
  • Verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards/practices.
  • Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant job experience, internship, or co-op is a plus.
  • EIT/FE Certification or ability to obtain before the start date.
  • Experience or education in reinforced concrete design.
  • Experience with Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, etc.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • Passion for design in a collaborative and progressive team-oriented environment.
