Data Analyst (Remote)

Position Overview

The main purpose of a data analyst is to find meaning in data so that the derived knowledge can be used to make informed decisions and assist the organization in making better business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Engages in data exploration using various programming languages and demonstrates proficiency with multiple database structures
• Supports stakeholders in gathering business and technical requirements to deliver data driven solutions
• Produces technical documentation consistent with professional standards
• Researches and analyzes data flow across operational and analytical data platforms
• Serves as a knowledgeable resource addressing data questions and issues
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data to glean insights and recommend appropriate business actions
• Participates in the design, development, validation, and delivery of data to inform business decisions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 4+ years relevant work experience
• Minimum of 3 years of data analysis or related work experience
• Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake, SQL Server, or equivalent), Microsoft Power BI (and Report Builder), advanced Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and Power Query), familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, and basic Python for data exploration and transformation
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication; proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Big Data/NoSQL platforms and delivering production projects at scale
• Experience in the healthcare industry
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role

Compensation

Salary Range: $73,656 - $146,289

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for geographic differences. Compensation is determined based on the position’s scope, candidate experience, internal equity, and location.
