Position Overview
Larksfield Place Retirement Communities, a nationally recognized not-for-profit continuous care retirement community in Wichita, is seeking a compassionate and licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN shifts. As part of our team, you will deliver high-quality, person-centered care that directly impacts the health and well-being of our residents. Compensation: $33.00/hr + $4.00/hr PRN Differential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess residents’ health needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement, evaluate, and revise care plans to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated, comprehensive care
- Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families
- Maintain clear and accurate medical records and documentation
- Respond to emergencies and deliver critical nursing interventions as needed
- Uphold infection control, safety, and privacy standards at all times
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the State of Kansas – Required
- CPR Certification – Required
- Strong interpersonal, assessment, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing – Preferred
