Position Overview

Papier is a VC-backed consumer stationery brand that sells online and ships direct to customers. After launching in the UK in 2015, we have experienced rapid growth in the US since 2018, fueled by over ~$15m in venture funding. We collaborate with upcoming artists, iconic brands, and exciting fashion labels to create an emporium of notebooks, notecards, diaries, and journals while inviting people to uncover the possibility of a blank page. We are now seeking a talented, passionate, and results-drivenUS Influencer Marketing Managerto join our Community team and further drive brand awareness and growth in the US market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage end-to-end influencer campaigns for the US region including campaign strategy, talent curation, rate negotiation, contract development, influencer relations, and performance measurement.
  • Collaborate with the Community team and our UK counterparts to share best practices, explore new trends, and leverage success stories to drive brand equity, loyalty, and engagement.
  • Carry out ongoing influencer marketing performance reviews and translate campaign reports into actionable insights for various teams and projects.
  • Build and maintain a network of influencers, talent, and tastemakers across the US to create partnership opportunities and leverage emerging trends.
  • Advise on emerging developments in the community space and adapt processes and strategies accordingly.
  • Work with the Performance team to scale influencer affiliate and branded content programs focused on driving conversion.
  • Manage influencer US budgets and targets to drive tactical, market-specific activations.
  • Recommend talent for social content and brand campaigns in partnership with influencers.
  • Become a resident expert on emerging platforms for creators.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and deliver talent-led creative briefs across all channels.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role, either in-house or agency.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated success in building influencer campaigns across various tiers that drive cultural relevance.
  • An innovative, out-of-the-box thinker with the initiative to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and the overall creator economy.
  • Strong editorial sensibilities to ensure content remains on-tone and on-brand.
  • Clear understanding and application of diversity and inclusion principles within community and influencer management.
  • Experience with localized campaigns and understanding regional nuances.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using influencer marketing SaaS platforms.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to utilize data in strategy development and storytelling.
  • A passion for social media, internet culture, and keeping a finger on the pulse of emerging digital platforms.
