Position Overview

As the Product Marketing Manager, HPV, you will manage the current and future HPV product portfolio on the cobas® x800 family of instruments for the U.S. market. Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager on the Molecular Diagnostics Reagents team, you will be the strategic lead driving product launches, developing business cases, and forecasting growth while ensuring products meet U.S. market requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the HPV portfolio strategy including product requirements, pricing, marketing campaigns, launch logistics, annual operating plan, tactical initiatives, and effective communication with internal and external partners.
- Serve as an expert for the HPV market—analyzing segments, competition, trends, and customer needs to forecast sales and define success.
- Manage the product lifecycle by overseeing forecasting, pricing, and back-order management while collaborating with U.S. and global functional groups.
- Translate market research and customer insights into actionable strategy, influencing global lifecycle teams for product development tailored to U.S. market requirements.
- Act as the technical expert for the HPV portfolio and collaborate with the broader molecular team to execute cohesive go-to-market strategies.
- Advise senior management on special projects, business challenges, and opportunities through regular reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, with a preference for studies in Business, Marketing, or a related clinical field.
- 3-5 years of related experience in marketing, sales, finance, or other commercial/scientific roles.
- Demonstrated ability to develop technical expertise in highly complex scientific products.
- Proven experience in communicating complex topics in a clear and simple manner.
- Strong project management and team leadership skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
- An entrepreneurial, growth mindset with the ability to balance near-term impact and long-term strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior healthcare experience.
- Experience managing a diagnostic-related portfolio.
- Experience working in a globally matrixed environment.
- Prior lab or customer interaction experience.
Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: Expected salary range of $97,800 - $181,600 (actual pay determined by experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors). A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on performance.
