Data Science Internship - 2026

Position Overview

United Talent Agency (UTA) is excited to offer a part-time Data Science Internship for current college seniors with a passion for data. This remote position (20 hours per week) provides hands-on experience in data analytics at the intersection of entertainment and innovation, allowing interns to work on real business challenges while gaining exposure to industry stakeholders.

Compensation: $20-22 per hour based on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the collection, cleaning, and transformation of data from multiple business sources.
• Build and maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, and reporting tools to track business performance.
• Assist in exploratory data analysis to surface patterns, outliers, and opportunities.
• Create clear visualizations and summaries to communicate findings to nontechnical audiences.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data questions and analytical approaches.
• Present findings via dashboards, memos, and presentations while participating in best practice sessions.
• Learn and apply data governance, privacy, and security standards.

Required Qualifications

• Current senior pursuing a Bachelor’s in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated comfort working with data.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas.
• Foundational proficiency in Python using libraries such as pandas, numpy, and matplotlib.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau or Sigma.
• Exposure to SQL and relational databases.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
