Job Description

Position Overview

Under direct supervision, you will compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value for materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies – ensuring accuracy through counts, record verifications, and adjustments. You will interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers while performing essential duties to support our operations and help serve the nation's food distribution system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain an accurate physical inventory count on a daily basis.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory.
  • Handle salvage product and check for outdated product.
  • Perform inventory and cycle counts.
  • Perform assigned job duties under constant time pressures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Operate powered equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
  • 6-12 months of warehousing, inventory, accounting, admin support, or related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
  • 1-2 years of warehousing, inventory, or accounting admin support experience within the foodservice industry

  • Compensation: $15.50/base + $1.50/premium = $17/hour.
  • Will require cross-training on a Cherry Picker Forklift.
