Job Description
Position Overview
Humana is seeking a Senior Communications and Marketing Professional to join our growing team. In this role, you will create and lead strategy for Humana's Wisconsin Medicaid Market (iCare) and act as the primary liaison between the iCare team and Humana’s marketing and communications departments. This is a remote position with scheduled weekly hours of 40. Share your talents, develop your skills, and make a difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary resource for all iCare communications and marketing.
- Work collaboratively with Humana’s marketing and communications teams.
- Ensure all communications and marketing efforts meet regulatory compliance.
- Develop and create member and provider materials.
- Coordinate with vendors for print fulfillment and distribution.
- Manage content of the iCare associate communication platform.
- Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approaches without direct supervision.
- Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Five (5) or more years of communications or marketing experience in health insurance, health care, or government (Medicare and/or Medicaid) settings.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience with communications or marketing regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience with software programs or systems used to create communications, preferably Adobe InDesign.
- Must have home internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps; a wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection is suggested.
- Ability to work from a dedicated space free from ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
- Copywriting and web content management experience.
- Experience with Medicaid and/or Medicare.
