Entry Level Structural Engineer –

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed engineering design for gravity and lateral systems of building structures from various material types.
• Communicate directly with clients and building officials.
• Assist in preparing design development and construction documents.
• Create and interpret data from 3D structural analysis models using commercial software.
• Keep senior staff informed of important service/design decisions and client objectives.
• Assist in advancing the office’s standards and technical knowledge.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% to support project needs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• EIT license preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based organization.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with BIM tools such as REVIT Structural.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge in RISA 3D, Microsoft Excel, SAFE, ETABS, Bluebeam, Ram Structural Systems, and Enercalc.

Compensation

Salary will be based on experience and education.
