Jewelry Sales Associate

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Jewelry Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting jewelry pieces, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the perfect jewelry items to meet their needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of various jewelry pieces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of jewelry products.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and reporting discrepancies.
• Promote sales through effective merchandising techniques and by maintaining knowledge of current promotions.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills with experience using cash registers and POS systems.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this is a valuable asset in serving diverse clientele.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A passion for jewelry and an understanding of current trends in the industry is a plus.
