Position Overview

Recurring Decimal – a recognized name in the Computer/IT Services industry – is seeking a seasoned business analysis professional. The successful candidate will leverage extensive experience in testing (both manual and automated), user training, and project management to deliver impactful technical solutions and facilitate smooth change management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and coordinate testing strategies for complex user interfaces, ensuring compliance with SOX/SAS controls.
• Create training plans and conduct both one-on-one and classroom training sessions for a large number of end users (1000+).
• Manage small to medium, complex IT projects including design, implementation planning, and documentation.
• Facilitate requirements gathering and change management initiatives by interacting with users at all levels.
• Document requirements using use cases, workflows, and other specification documents.
• Defend and present test results as well as coordinate resolution of test issues.
• Lead team and client meetings and deliver well-organized, informative presentations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Analysis, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in business analysis, including solution testing (manual and automated) and user acceptance testing.
• Proven experience and deep knowledge of methodologies including Object Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD), structured test methods, and process analysis.
• Demonstrated ability in creating use cases, managing IT projects, and conducting end-user training sessions.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project 2010, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint 2007/2010.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a talent for presenting and facilitating meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP) is preferred.
• Experience performing two or more of the following: User End Training, Use Case Development, Process Analysis, Project Management, or Product Selection during the RFP process.
