Be our next Junior Healthcare Project Manager and work as part of the Healthcare Team of the MEP Sector for Florida. Salary: $100,000 to $130,000. Compensation: Determined based on candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Location: Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Representing EXP in client interactions by performing at a ‘responsible charge’ level
- Managing project risks to minimize EXP’s and clients’ exposure to problems
- Facilitating coordination between the project team, client, and other consultants
- Managing project success through timely internal and external communication
- Monitoring progress towards meeting scheduled project milestones and adjusting course as necessary
- Communicating project team needs and time constraints with clients while managing expectations toward win-win solutions
- Overseeing MEP/FP work planning and managing the design process in line with budgetary requirements
- Identifying project scope changes and assessing their cost/time impact
- Ensuring quality by verifying QC processes are followed and reviewing all client deliverables
- Managing project cash flow through timely invoicing and collections
- Maintaining existing client relationships and assisting with developing new ones
- Providing lead engineering design or discipline-specific guidance
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Experience Required: 4+ years of building HVAC or Electrical design experience and 5+ years of healthcare facility design experience
- Qualifications: Thorough knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical codes and FGI
- Requirements: Professional written and oral communication skills, a process-oriented approach to documenting correspondence, advanced equipment selection and analysis, and the ability to develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida preferred
