Job Description

Job Summary

Assisting With Benefit Testing, Verification, Contract Coding And System Upgrades. Responsible For Releasing Prompt Pay And Highly Complex Claims. Tracking/Reporting Functions For Testing In Addition To Being Responsible For Acting As Liaison Between Fsu And Other Departments. Analyzing Processing Functions For Improvements And Assisting Management In The Implementation Of Procedural Revisions. Conducting Technical Training Programs For Claims Department Personnel In Utilization Of New Processing Functions And Procedural Matters.

Ability To Travel Including Overnight Stays.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of benefit provisions of group contracts and system interface skills.
  • 3 years experience in claim administration, claims auditing, customer service or membership.
  • 1 year experience resolving complex claims.
  • 6 months experience investigating and resolving corporate audit and/or departmental cited errors.
  • Experience with analysis, verification and testing of benefit/contract coding.
  • Knowledge of medical and industry terminology.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience meeting deadlines.
  • Analytical skills.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Medicaid experience, preferably Illinois
  • FACETs Knowledge
  • Experience with analysis, verification and support in testing of system and/or benefit/contract coding.
  • Knowledge of benefit provisions of group contracts and system interface skills.
  • Completion of Blue Chip training and experience with Blue Chip systems capabilities and/or processes.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range

$41,700.00 - $92,800.00
