Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct advanced threat hunting and analysis to identify and mitigate potential security breaches.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance threat intelligence platforms and data feeds.
  • Perform in-depth forensic analysis of security incidents.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security controls and best practices.

  • Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of incident response plans and procedures.
  • Generate regular reports on security posture, incidents, and threat landscape.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree: in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on threat intelligence and incident response.
  • Understanding: Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors.
  • Proficiency: Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Work style: Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Certifications: Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC) are a plus.
