Field Service/Installation Technician

Position Overview

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Position:

Key Responsibilities

• Providing maintenance and repair services in the field
• Training staff on using equipment
• Training customers on using equipment

Required Qualifications

• Computer proficiency, including knowledge of Windows-based programs
• Organizational skills and strong problem solving abilities
• Exceptional communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Physical ability to walk, bend, kneel, squat, sit, stand, reach, and twist
• Capability to frequently lift/carry between 1 to 55 pounds and occasionally 56 to 100 pounds
• Routine pushing, pulling, grasping and manual dexterity for using hands, arms, and shoulders
• Able to work in tight spaces and travel frequently to customer sites
• Occasional use of power tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical training in the bio-medical or electronics field
• Mechanical or technical experience/education
• Experience in electrical work, customer service, military, or software/hardware
• Familiarity with pneumatics and HVAC systems
