Project Manager- Hybrid opportunity in the Bronx!

Position Overview

Essen Health Care is developing its own population health and practice management solution and is seeking a cross-functional Project Manager to serve as a crucial liaison between our technology, clinical, and operations teams. Reporting to the Vice President of Product, you will work closely with our remote product and development teams in India to integrate business requirements across various Lines of Business (LOBs) into our internal implementation “sandbox” before its external launch. Founded in 1999 and serving New York City’s diverse communities, Essen Health Care is one of the largest and most comprehensive private medical groups in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day coordination and efficient operation of the product roadmap.
• Develop a detailed and comprehensive project plan including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, addressing the unique requirements of healthcare projects.
• Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, to ensure effective project execution and communication.
• Collaborate with other Project Managers to enhance the efficiency and quality of the healthcare product delivery.
• Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, track progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Support all ad hoc projects as they arise.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in a SaaS company under the development team.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects within the healthcare industry.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience or exposure to Project Management.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

• Salary: 75,000-95,000 annually
