Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented entry level laborer to join our production team. The Racker Packer plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by efficiently and accurately placing products onto racks for further processing. This position requires a strong focus on quality, safety, and teamwork to ensure that production goals are met while maintaining high standards. Job Type: Full-time. Compensation: $16.00 per hour. Expected hours: 40–48 per week. Required Hours: 3:00pm – 11:30pm M–F. Work Location: In person. People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently place products onto designated racks for storage or further processing.
- Inspect products for quality assurance before racking, ensuring they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or product discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risk of injury or accidents.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to manufacturing operations is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
