Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare geotechnical investigations or design activities that have significant impact on major company programs.
- Participate in marketing efforts for both internal and external clients.
- Organize, conduct, and coordinate or manage geotechnical investigations for transportation and other projects.
- Perform geotechnical technical analyses, prepare reports, and coordinate with designers to implement recommendations.
- Function as a Technical Specialist or Project Manager on large projects as needed.
- Supervise professionals, technicians, and design teams as required.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, GIS, and CADD.
- Experience with GeoStudio/Ensoft for slope stability, settlement, seepage, and deep foundation response analyses.
- Experience with Bentley suite of geotechnical data management and visualization software (gINT/OpenGround/LeapFrog).
- Familiarity with advanced numerical modeling techniques such as Finite Difference, Finite Element, and Discrete Element methods.

- Compensation: Expected range is $127,000 - $189,000, commensurate with skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
