Data Architect - Director

Position Overview

At PwC, our people in Data and Analytics Engineering focus on leveraging advanced technologies to design and develop robust data solutions that transform raw data into actionable insights. In this Director role, you will lead the creation and execution of data architecture strategies, drive innovation, shape client engagements, and mentor emerging leaders while safeguarding PwC’s reputation for quality, integrity, and inclusion. You will partner with business stakeholders to translate complex data requirements into technical solutions and ensure compliance with governance and security policies. Your leadership will drive business growth and create an environment where technology and people excel together.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Data Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Architect, GCP Data Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Snowflake Core, Snowflake Databricks Data Engineer Associate)
• Proficient in Python and handling structured/unstructured data
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases
• Experience with writing and maintaining FastAPI endpoints
• Understanding AI techniques to enhance LLMs and experience in prompt engineering
• Experience in developing scalable data storage solutions using cloud services
• Expertise in designing and managing data warehouses and data lakes
• Experience in implementing IAM roles and policies for cloud platforms

Benefits & Perks

• Compensation: $155,000 - $410,000, plus potential annual discretionary bonus (actual compensation dependent on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws)
