About the Role

This role supports the development and execution of the Managed Freight and Logistics strategy, ensuring alignment with overall Supply Chain Management (SCM) objectives. This role is responsible for analytics, performance tracking, reporting, and cross-functional coordination to optimize freight performance and cost.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Analyzes freight, transportation, and logistics data to identify trends, risks, cost drivers, and performance improvement opportunities.
• Develops and maintains KPI dashboards and performance reporting for suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners.
• Monitors compliance and service performance against established standards and identifies corrective actions when needed.
• Partners with Sourcing, Finance, Operations, and external logistics partners to support alignment on freight strategy and execution.
• Provides market intelligence and analytical insights to support business planning and decision-making.
• Prepares materials and analysis for business reviews with logistics and freight partners.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities to enhance logistics performance and reduce total delivered cost.
• Supports cross-functional projects related to transportation optimization, network design, system enhancements, and freight consolidation initiatives.
• Assists in resolving freight and transportation-related issues through root cause analysis and data-driven recommendations.
• Other related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in supply chain, transportation, logistics, or analytics roles.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in ERP systems, BI tools, and advanced Excel.
• Experience working with freight carriers, 3PLs, or distribution networks preferred.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
