Mission Restaurant Outside Sales Representative Job Description

Sales representatives are responsible for communicating the benefits of Mission RS products and services in order to drive sales. Sales reps serve as the point of contact between businesses and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services.

Qualifications often include strong interpersonal and communication skills as well in business or related fields. Must possess.

  • Knowledge of foodservice operations and equipment preferable, but not a must.
  • Customer service Skills to listen effectively to customer concerns, and challenges.
  • People skills to work with a wide variety of people, build relationships, and build a network to leverage your relationships to Gain, Grow Business.
  • Confidence, and strong self - Assuredness to succeed in cold calling customers and close sales.
  • Communicate effectively to prospects the features and benefits of products and programs Mission RS sales.
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A initiative-taker is a must.
  • Must be able to manage time and projects.
  • Must be able to network with Manufacturers and other vendors to build relationships to gain new business.
  • Computer Literate - ability to operate different platforms, SFDC, Net Suite AutoQuotes, Excel, Word.
  • Comprehension of Margin Based selling and quoting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of building plans and design is a plus.

Job Description

  • Create a 14-day plan to include customer meetings, prospect calls, AR collections, hurdles, and objections. How do you overcome this?
  • Manage Customer book of Business.
  • Quote new Equipment sales.
  • Reading blueprints/building plans to determine equipment needs.
  • Deal directly with equipment manufacturers.
  • Network with other sales associates.
  • Network with Manufacturer Reps.
  • Other local FS, Hospitality vendors.
  • Communicate with Install Dept. to get new business installed.
  • Manage Lead Tracker.
  • Make cold calls to new businesses.
  • Work with Distribution and Install to insure delivery of equipment to customer location.
  • Work with Manufacturers to determine lead times on equipment.
  • Site Surveys with customers to determine equipment needs.
  • Manage Job projects.
  • Work with Leasing Specialist to lease equipment.
  • Meet Yearly sales quotas.
