Sr. Industrial Engineer

Position Overview

In this role you will support our distribution centers through a diversified approach of engineering principles and practices to successfully maximize productivity, quality, and service. You will need to Try Fast, Learn Fast, Think Big by leveraging engineering techniques to establish methods for maximizing optimization with a focus on continuous improvement that positively impacts our business and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and drive process improvement through consistent analysis methods and standards, pinpointing best practices, benchmarks, and areas for improvement to balance cost, service, and productivity.
• Implement continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives by educating and influencing operational leaders to improve performance metrics.
• Research industry best practices and prepare projects to implement applicable improvements throughout the distribution center.
• Establish and maintain effective cross functional relationships with business partners, including internal/external customers, through education and influence to enhance performance metrics.
• Facilitate the resolution of issues and collaborate with customers and team members to develop plans that meet or exceed business objectives.
• Manage projects and program execution within your specialty area and ensure quality of work.
• Assist the Engineering Manager in driving business results, executing product and program strategies, and creating a world class customer service experience.

Required Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of distribution operations, process flow analysis, network modeling, DC design, and material handling systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and build consensus across multiple stakeholders and functions.
• Proven ability to drive results through effective data analysis.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while adhering to strict timelines.
