JOB MISSION: This role brings design intention from development through production. It provides transparency and issue escalation to maintain organizational alignment while ensuring product drives fit and sizing consistency and garment construction excellence. The position involves managing complex projects at various stages through design and development, fully coordinating tasks with cross-functional team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret design intent from development through production.
- Create and maintain medium complexity tech packs—including garment construction, sketches, graded measurement charts, fit comments, and pattern corrections—and identify and correct fit issues.
- Prepare for and lead fit sessions, communicating revisions to factories through pattern corrections and images.
- Identify potential production, quality, and costing issues, making recommendations while maintaining design and fit intent.
- Track and manage workflow to ensure seasonal deadlines are met; maintain awareness of industry competitors, trends, and new related technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Tech Design, patternmaking, fitting, specs, and grading.
- Experience and/or strong desire to learn Gerber Pattern Design and 3D Clo or related software.
- Ability to interpret medium complexity technical sketch details and identify construction details on garments.
- Understanding of the development and manufacturing process, including fluency with grade rule calculations.
- Ability and willingness to travel globally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Illustrator, and PLM systems.

- Compensation: Boston, MA Headquarters – (NB) Only Pay Range: $68,470.00 - $87,780.00 - $107,090.00 Annual (actual base pay varies based on relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more).
