Job Description

Position Overview

Join our team as a Project Engineer at AER Manufacturing and Sales, headquartered in Carrollton, Texas. In this role, you will provide critical engineering support by assisting in the re-manufacturing of over 250 engines per day, collaborating with customer engineering teams to develop processes and specifications, and integrating new products into our established manufacturing operations. AER Manufacturing and Sales is a world leader in the engine remanufacturing industry with over sixty years of experience, continuously striving to improve products, processes, and employee expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities: Provide engineering support for the re-manufacturing of 250+ engines/day
  • Interact with customer engineering to develop processes and specifications
  • Integrate new products into our current manufacturing processes
  • Create, review, and manage plant job instructions
  • Develop assembly tooling and machining equipment

Required Qualifications

  • Requirements: An interest in automotive and manufacturing engineering
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office and working knowledge of CAD design programs such as SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of machining, lean, and just-in-time manufacturing practices
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to problem solve in an organized, strategic manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • A self-driven personality with a solid work ethic
