Entry-Level Automotive Technician – Paid Training + Tools Provided

Indy Auto Man Westfield LLC is looking for an Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined and wants to learn the automotive industry from experienced technicians. No prior automotive experience is required! We will train you.

You will work alongside experienced technicians and learn multiple roles in the shop while helping keep daily operations running smoothly.

We provide a toolbox and tools to get you started. After 90 days of employment, the toolbox and tools are yours to keep.

You will be paid hourly so you can learn at your own pace without pressure.

No automotive experience required — we will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety regulations and standards
• Help customers
• Keep the shop clean and well-organized
• Assist with transportation and vehicle check-in

Skills

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
• Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
• Excellent physical condition with good mobility and stamina
• High school diploma or equivalent; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred
