Position Overview
Full-time / Data Entry Specialist (Remote). In this role, you will receive, collect, review, and enter data into tracking systems while ensuring accuracy and completeness. You may also generate basic reports, support staff with data-related inquiries, and perform routine office duties. Key Responsibilities
- Receives, collects, reviews, and enters data into a computer system or tracking database.
- Ensures accuracy of all recorded data and verifies that the information is complete.
- Provides basic reports and acts as a resource for other staff members.
- Reads source documents and enters data in specific data fields accurately.
- Collects, compiles, sorts, and verifies data accuracy or completeness before entry.
- Performs data integrity tasks by locating and correcting entry errors or reporting them to supervisors.
- Scans or uploads documents as needed.
- Handles routine office/lab duties, such as answering phones and maintaining supplies.
- Maintains logs of activities and completed work, filing or distributing documents appropriately.
- Provides data lists, spreadsheets, and reports as required.
- Creates or modifies databases in response to departmental needs.
- Assists users with information regarding data requirements and status; may train other data entry employees.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED required; Associates Degree/Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience Required: Two years of relevant experience
