In this exciting opportunity, you will join as a Content Strategist – a crucial, client-facing role responsible for day-to-day client deliverables, developing and managing custom strategies, and serving as the primary liaison between clients and our internal teams. (Internally titled Account Strategist, Content & SEO.) Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Excellence and Best Practices: Create custom client strategies and implement best practices to achieve key business metrics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with your Associate Director to address roadblocks and refine strategy based on client goals and performance data.
- Creative Briefs & Content Campaigns: Craft compelling creative briefs and develop content campaigns driven by competitor and audience insights.
- Best Practices Implementation: Employ methodologies such as LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and Content Production to optimize outcomes.
- Goal Setting: Leverage data from Google Analytics, CRM, SEMRush, and Ahrefs to set clear goals, reviewed and approved by your Associate Director before client presentation.
- Project Management: Oversee the execution of strategies, delegate tasks using Asana, and coordinate with Specialists and Project Managers to ensure timely completion.
- Internal & External Communication: Build lasting relationships with clients by proactively communicating timeline expectations, progress updates, and key changes via channels like Slack and bi-weekly meetings.
- Reporting: Regularly report on strategy progress through bi-weekly meetings, monthly/quarterly reports, and bi-annual business review presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in implementing SEO principles and content strategy, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
- Analytical insight with the ability to analyze website traffic and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated client-facing experience and the ability to manage key stakeholder relationships.
- Familiarity with industry tools such as Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Proven organizational, project, and time management skills.
- Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, and content creation.
- Must have agency experience with a background in B2B tech and/or SaaS.
