Nestled on 2.5 acres of real grass and shady trees in Miami’s Horse Country, we are a real ranch dog paradise where pups run, romp, splash, and socialize under loving supervision. We believe dogs thrive when they’re free to play safely, make friends, and enjoy plenty of fresh air, fun, and love.

Dog Dude Ranch of Miami is seeking a strong, service-driven leader to create a consistently exceptional experience for our dog parents and their dogs.

We are not a traditional boarding facility. We are a fun, safe and supervised dog park-style ranch home where families entrust us with dogs they deeply love — often for years. The experience we create matters just as much as the care we provide.

The Mission

Your responsibility is not simply managing a schedule or overseeing a front desk.

Your mission is to create an environment where:

  • Every dog parent feels complete confidence leaving their dog with us.
  • Every employee understands exactly how to deliver that feeling — consistently.
  • The ranch runs calmly, professionally, and with clear communication at every level.

You will train and guide staff in our communication and handling standards, oversee daily interactions, and maintain a steady, organized atmosphere across both the office and the yards.

What You Will Do

Lead & Coach

  • Lead and coach front desk and yard staff
  • Train employees using our service and handling handbook
  • Model calm, professional communication at all times
  • Hold clear standards while maintaining a supportive environment

Own the Client Experience

  • Ensure quick, warm, and accurate communication with dog parents
  • Oversee reservations, check-in/check-out, and software accuracy
  • Handle client concerns calmly, professionally, and thoroughly
  • Create consistency from first inquiry through departure

Oversee Daily Ranch Flow

  • Monitor daily operations to ensure safety and organization
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement practical improvements
  • Be present with dogs and team members — not only in an office

This is a hands-on leadership role. Presence matters.

You understand that excellence is built through daily habits — not occasional effort.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Strong background in customer service and operations
  • Animal care experience preferred (kennel, veterinary, daycare, training, etc.)
  • Available to work weekends and holidays
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and work outdoors
  • Background and drug screening required

All leadership team members may assist with animal care tasks to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests.

Schedule

Full-time, primarily daytime hours with rotating weekend presence.

Compensation

Competitive salary based on experience.

Performance bonus tied to client satisfaction and retention.
