As an AWS Cybersecurity Specialist on our team, you'll be trusted to help customers solve problems using the latest software like Ansible, Terraform, and Splunk. Using vulnerability assessments, monitoring, and testing, you'll work with multiple stakeholders to evaluate risk and make meaningful recommendations. You'll help monitor security environments and identify security gaps through the eyes of an adversary. In this role, you'll impact Defense mission readiness by supporting the security, stability, and accessibility of AWS environments. Key Responsibilities
- Help customers solve problems using advanced tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Splunk.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, monitoring, and testing to evaluate risks and recommend improvements.
- Monitor security environments and identify potential security gaps from an adversary’s perspective.
- Support the overall security, stability, and accessibility of AWS environments.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity strategies.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience providing cybersecurity support in an AWS GovCloud environment.
- 2+ years of experience with DoD security technical implementation guides (STIGs), checklists, and testing.
- 2+ years of experience performing vulnerability assessment and incident response analysis activities.
- 2+ years of experience performing operating system continuous monitoring tasks.
- Experience with control implementations associated with RMF, FedRAMP, ICD 503, and DoD Information Levels, including applying them to the design and implementation of IT solutions to achieve system authorizations.
- Experience creating cybersecurity artifacts in support of authorization or compliance packages.
- Secret clearance.
- Education: Associate's degree
- Security+ Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cyber-related tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Splunk.
- Experience developing and reviewing ATO authorization packages in Xacta or eMASS.
- Knowledge of Air Force cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Ability to work on a geographically dispersed team.

- Compensation: $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD)
