Position Overview

In this role, you will use phone and digital channels to engage healthcare professionals, deliver product education, and build lasting relationships while driving brand objectives and prescription growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize virtual sales techniques to educate healthcare professionals about products, program/service offerings, and resources while meeting established call volume metrics.
- Successfully complete product training to ensure effective customer service within program parameters.
- Facilitate account management through planning, resource coordination, and customer support.
- Engage healthcare professionals with in‐depth, compliant communication to drive prescription volume.
- Establish a commanding and engaging phone presence to build rapport with healthcare professionals at all levels.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of products and use appropriate clinical terminology when communicating key information.
- Listen and respond appropriately to customer questions, ensuring understanding and program acceptance.
- Process requests for product information, cost details, samples, and literature in a timely, professional manner.
- Provide additional information and referrals to appropriate resources regarding products and services.
- Display a positive attitude and customer focus with timely resolution of issues and concerns.
- Project a professional and positive company image during all interactions.
- Manage inbound and outbound call activities effectively, ensuring proper coverage and adherence to compliance guidelines.
- Accurately enter relevant information into systems and collaborate with team members to optimize sales strategies.
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly productivity goals while managing a targeted list of healthcare professionals.
- Follow established escalation pathways for issue resolution and maintain current training materials and job aids.
- Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Background in direct selling is preferred; a bachelor’s degree is an asset.
- At least 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, strong organization, and superior communication and relationship building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of medical terminology and ability to pronounce complex medical terms.
- Knowledge of the medical device or pharmaceutical market and related fields.
- Experience interacting with physicians, patients, and office staff in a healthcare setting.
- Professional phone etiquette and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to learn and implement best practices, including meeting daily activity, goals, and metrics.
- Experience with applications, databases, and maintaining strict quality control standards.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
