Warehouse Supervisor

Position Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor - Unloading & Selection role is responsible for overseeing site operations with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and quality customer service. This position offers a Compensation package of $80,000 base salary with additional bonus potential. It requires approximately 80%+ travel to support client implementations, site launches, and operational transitions. The role is part of Capstone – a North American supply chain solutions partner with over 600 operating locations.

Work Location: On the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Run the site with safety and efficiency as top priorities.
• Communicate daily with associates regarding service levels, accountability, pay, and performance.
• Create and transmit daily work logs to corporate.
• Audit daily labor and billing reports and ensure customer needs are met.
• Document and resolve any customer service or associate issues.
• Enforce Capstone policies and safety work rules; host weekly safety meetings.
• Manage site and departmental budget, including scheduling associate shifts.
• Interview, hire, and train new associates.
• Supervise timely and accurate data entry for all services performed.
• Complete daily closeout tasks, including cash balancing, data upload, and payroll administration.

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Proven ability to provide high levels of customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to make decisions, problem-solve, prioritize, and direct workforce in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring warehouse associates.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong organizational skills and aptitude for multitasking with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work under physical conditions typical of warehouse environments, including standing for long periods, operating material handling equipment, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Warehouse/Distribution Supervisory experience of at least 3 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or third-party (3PL) experience.
• BS/BA Degree or Associate Degree with equivalent experience is a plus.
• Experience managing budgets and creating/maintaining management reports.
• 3PL experience (1 year preferred).
