About Us

Korea Fuel Tech America (KFTA) is a growing automotive parts manufacturer located in Auburn, Alabama. We produce advanced fuel system and emission control components for leading global OEMs, including Hyundai, Kia, and General Motors. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all HR functions at our Auburn facility.

Position Summary

The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of Human Resources including recruitment, employee relations, payroll administration, safety & compliance programs, and training. This position plays a key leadership role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and positive work environment while supporting the company’s growth and people strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, employee files, and HRIS maintenance
  • Administer payroll processing, attendance tracking, and employee benefits
  • Lead recruitment and selection processes for hourly and salaried employees
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, handbooks, and company procedures in compliance with federal and state laws
  • Oversee Safety (EHS/OSHA) programs — training, audits, corrective actions, and compliance documentation
  • Support management on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans
  • Coordinate internal communication, employee recognition, and training initiatives
  • Liaise with external agencies (staffing, insurance, compliance auditors, etc.)
  • Prepare HR reports for corporate leadership and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or automotive parts environment strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of employment law, payroll, OSHA, and safety compliance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual (English/Korean) a plus but not required

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional overtime or weekend work as required for payroll or safety audits
