Job Description

Position Overview

The Brand Marketing Strategy Leader will provide leadership in the development of an integrated marketing and advertising program, including strategic direction for traditional advertising, digital advertising, brand and creative integration. This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and integration of company-wide and division-specific strategic marketing communications initiatives to drive brand awareness, sales, and margin growth. The candidate must be able to work onsite 5 days/week in Location: Tulsa, OK and has 15 or more years of experience in developing customer engagement and digital marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage a team of 10-12 professionals, including the media, brand, and in-house creative teams.
  • Lead the development and annual refresh of an overarching brand strategy framework and roadmap in collaboration with the Director of Marketing, Digital Experience Manager, Public Relations, Customer Engagement team, Data Science, and external agency partners.
  • Oversee consumer insights research activities by recommending solutions, developing testing protocols, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and integrating findings into marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing, VP of Sales, and Category Sales Managers to develop strategic marketing plans that support the promotional calendar, product development cycle, and Price Value positioning.
  • Oversee and manage the internal creative team and external agencies to provide brand guidance and ensure cohesive and on-brief execution of all creative assets, including TV, video, radio, digital, in-store signage, print, and Out of Home advertising.
  • Provide guidance and support to new business areas by recommending targeted marketing action plans, developing a test and learn environment, and ensuring proper resource allocation for marketing initiatives.
  • Stay current on competitors’ marketing activities and develop competitive blunting solutions based on market intelligence.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience Required: 15 or more years of progressively responsible and supervisory experience in corporate marketing, managing creative teams and/or ad agency account management.
  • Experience in multi-unit retail organizations, with a strong preference for candidates with food industry experience.
  • Proven expertise in developing customer engagement and digital marketing strategies, including social media, mobile apps, and web initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing and coordinating multiple media agencies and vendor partners.
  • Solid understanding of consumer insights and market research methodologies.
  • Track record of building brands and driving sales through integrated marketing campaigns and solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-unit retail or food industry experience is preferred.
