Position Overview

EquipmentShare is hiring an Outside Sales Representative for our Core Solutions rental location in Location: Austin, TX. In this role, you will expand our existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals while representing a wide range of construction equipment rentals including aerial, earth moving, and material handling equipment. Salary: $70,000 - $400,000+ and Compensation: Uncapped commission with no market restrictions + base salary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined geographical territory and execute the full sales strategy—from market analysis and sales forecasting to pipeline management, revenue growth, contract negotiation, and customer retention.
  • Quickly respond to inbound leads and requests while utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems effectively.
  • Develop new business through client acquisition and account development by educating potential clients on how EquipmentShare solutions can help them save money, improve efficiency, and drive revenue.
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure complete satisfaction and to keep customers informed about additional jobsite solutions.
  • Promptly address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, or requests, and conduct sales presentations to both prospective and current customers.
  • Continuously develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and enhance the customer experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated outside sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of heavy construction equipment or related industries, preferably in a B2B sales environment (training provided if necessary).
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced, growing company and learn new products and services.
  • A competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in managing strategic and national accounts.
