Position Overview
We are a dynamic and innovative company specializing in delivering high-quality services across various industries. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as an Entry Level Events Assistant. In this role, you will plan, organize, and execute a wide range of corporate events, conferences, and special projects to enhance our brand presence and customer engagement. Location: Atlanta G.A, Salary: $51,230 - $60,560 per year, Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday. Company: Diaz Consulting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and coordinating events, including client meetings, workshops, and company functions.
- Support the events team with logistical tasks, such as scheduling, vendor communications, and venue preparations.
- Prepare and organize materials, including attendee lists, event programs, and promotional items.
- Help with on-site event setup, registration, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate records of event details, budgets, and follow-up notes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure event goals are met and assist with post-event evaluations.
- Provide general administrative support as needed for the events team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- College coursework or certification in event planning.
- Previous experience in events, customer service, or administrative roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of event planning software.
