Position Overview
The Marketing Solutions Specialist is a remote, full-time, mid-level inside sales role at Care.com. You will proactively build client relationships and consistently exceed revenue objectives through both cold calling and warm follow-ups. On Target Earnings – $80,000-$100,000 annually ( $40,000 base + uncapped commission ). Target Start Date is Monday, May 19th 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with small to medium size business owners to offer Care.com Marketing Solutions that help build their customer base and achieve business goals (including child and senior care facilities such as daycare, skilled nursing, and senior/memory/adult care).
- Maintain a consistent and balanced pipeline of opportunities and close deals through the entire sales cycle.
- Monitor the daily volume of calls, messages, and touch points.
- Achieve individual sales goals/quotas on a consistent weekly and monthly basis.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of company services/products, industry trends, and competitive insights with a focus on delivering value.
- Collaborate closely with the Care.com management team to analyze sales and financial metrics while managing your book of business.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of B2B sales experience.
- Proven experience with cold calling, with a commitment to 100 dials and a minimum of 3 hours of talk time each day.
- Strong organizational skills and process-driven approach in prioritizing targets and tasks across the sales cycle.
- Excellent problem-solving and closing skills with the ability to handle objections and consistently close deals.
- Ability to maintain accurate account information using a sales automation system.
- High level of motivation, drive, and a self-starting mentality along with the resilience required for a dynamic sales role.
- Availability to work full-time Monday-Friday during normal business hours (9 AM-6 PM EST, adjusted to your time zone).
- A quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions and a minimum internet speed of 100 Mbps.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with a positive, proactive mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and adhere to a comprehensive training program with minimal missed hours during the first three weeks.
