Job Description

Position Overview

ProMach is seeking an experienced and strategic Lead Data Analyst to drive complex analytical initiatives across the organization. In this role, you will transform fragmented data from a complex ecosystem—including 45+ ERP systems and hundreds of databases—into powerful dashboards, insights, and narratives that drive key decisions in finance, operations, and supply chain. You will engage with stakeholders at all levels, use tools like Databricks and SQL, and support large-scale data migrations while championing a culture of data literacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end analytics projects from discovery through data modeling, analysis, and dashboard delivery.
  • Collaborate with business leaders across Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain to define analytical needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Gather business requirements via interviews, workshops, and iterative feedback sessions with diverse stakeholders.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports integrating data from ERP, CRM, and other operational systems.
  • Write complex SQL queries and develop reusable data models, metrics logic, and transformations to power business intelligence.
  • Utilize Databricks, relational databases, and other analytics platforms to explore and prepare large datasets for analysis.
  • Lead or support data migration efforts across ERP/CRM platforms ensuring consistency, integrity, and minimal business disruption.
  • Validate data accuracy and work with data engineers to address pipeline, transformation, and governance issues.
  • Mentor junior analysts on tools, methods, best practices, and effective business communication.
  • Champion a culture of data literacy while promoting high standards in reporting, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science roles, including 1–2 years in a lead or senior-level capacity.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple systems.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ERP/CRM systems such as SAP, Oracle, SyteLine, or Salesforce.
  • Experience in designing and developing dashboards, KPIs, and reports that communicate actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical teams, business users, and executive stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in requirement gathering, validation, and iterative BI development in a cross-functional setting.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize projects among multiple stakeholders with varying levels of data literacy.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, or cloud-based data platforms for analyzing large datasets.
  • Experience working on data migration projects involving ERP or CRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality validation, and metadata documentation.
  • Knowledge of dimensional modeling and best practices in BI architecture.
  • Proficiency with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, or Git.
