Position Overview
The CBS Stations’ Local Ad Sales team is responsible for driving all local revenue growth across all Paramount Global streaming & digital assets, as well as the 27 owned & operated CBS Television Stations. This team collaborates across Paramount Global and CBS Stations divisions, providing thought leadership that drives the local sales GTM strategy, innovation opportunities, training & development, and revenue generation. We are looking for exceptional candidates for the Account Executive, New Business, to prospect and secure new business representing the Paramount Streaming portfolio of digital & streaming assets—including Paramount, CBS, Pluto TV, and more—with direct reporting to the Vice President, Business Development - Local Digital Sales. The role is focused on local market and regional business development by prospecting, qualifying, and generating sales revenue from advertisers and agencies that have not historically been active with Paramount, while building long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and cold call potential clients and agencies to activate across Paramount digital properties.
- Work with clients and agency partners to develop impactful digital solutions.
- Set sales calls as a digital expert and collaborate with Account Managers to compose media plans and develop sales presentations.
- Apply in-depth understanding of workflow systems and processes to advise Account Managers and clients, managing campaign expectations both internally and externally.
- Advise a support team that monitors digital campaign pacing and efficiency to ensure proper campaign delivery and re-merchandising of campaigns.
- Collaborate across Paramount Global teams to build revenue opportunities through strategic packaging and alignment with corporate initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of business development experience in advertising/media, with streaming sales experience preferred (experience across multiple buying lanes a plus).
- Excellent sales skills, including business development, consultative sales approach, presentation abilities, confident negotiation, and post-sale re-merchandising.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to think creatively.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical foresight and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels.
- A team-first approach with a passion for creating an inclusive, diverse culture that inspires creativity and collaboration.
- A dedicated and driven work ethic.
- Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS/BA degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Familiarity with applications such as Salesforce, Operative, GAM, Google Analytics, Freewheel, or other web-related applications is a plus.
