NOTE: This role is based in NYC. Lyra Collective operates a flexible, hybrid office policy in which employees are expected to be in-person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
We are hiring a Brand Marketing Strategist for our Family brands – Natemia, Lusso Gear, and Leashboss. In this role, you will support our integrated marketing strategy and execution by managing our brand marketing calendar, social communities, partnership exploration, and organic content. This position is both strategic and hands-on, overseeing day-to-day marketing operations while contributing to high-level, brand-building initiatives. Reporting to the General Manager of Family, your goal is to create an impactful online presence that builds brand awareness, drives customer acquisition, and fosters community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand & Content Strategy: Partner with brand leadership and the Performance Marketing team to curate and execute content strategies across social, affiliate, email, blog, and other emerging channels.
- Content Calendar Management: Own the Family brands’ content marketing calendar end-to-end, ensuring alignment with merchandising, promotions, and core brand goals.
- Market Insights: Conduct research to generate insights about customers, products, and competitors, and use these insights to develop compelling campaign strategies and creative briefs.
- Project Collaboration: Lead collaboration with internal and external teams, acting as a project manager when required.
- Social Engagement: Develop and execute an organic social content strategy to drive brand awareness and growth, managing community engagement across platforms including Instagram, Meta, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Audience Growth: Foster community and drive audience growth through effective community management and engagement, including regular affiliate relationship updates.
- Brand Partnerships: Develop partnership strategies and perform outreach to organizations and brands, utilizing tactics such as email swaps, giveaways, gifts-with-purchase, and product collaborations.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in brand marketing, social media, growth marketing, or owned media – ideally in consumer brands, DTC, or e-commerce.
- Proven ability to build and manage multi-channel content strategies (social, affiliate, blog, email, etc.).
- Demonstrated success in using customer and market insights to inform creative and campaign development.
- Deep familiarity with social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Meta) and their best practices, including community management and social listening.
- Experience with influencer/creator marketing, including managing paid and organic partnerships.
- Prior experience leading brand collaborations or partnerships (email swaps, collabs, GWPs, etc.).
