Based in The Heights, Houston, TX, this Contract role offers a dynamic environment with 2–3 days in-office/on-location for content shoots and a hybrid remote work option. Be the creative force behind brands that stand out online.
Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage content calendars across multiple client accounts.
- Develop and execute content strategies to grow followers, boost engagement, and drive leads/sales.
- Write punchy captions, brainstorm trends, and oversee content from concept to publish.
- Attend onsite shoots to direct, capture, and collaborate on engaging Reels, Stories, and static content, including possible on-camera participation.
- Communicate directly with clients to align on goals, creative direction, and deliverables.
- Analyze performance metrics to optimize campaigns in real time.
- Utilize tools like CapCut, Canva, and AI (like ChatGPT) to streamline workflow and amplify creativity.
- Monitor social trends to keep clients ahead of the curve.
- Build and nurture online communities with genuine engagement and social listening.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of social media marketing experience, preferably managing multiple accounts.
- Organized multitasker who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- Comfortable being in front of the camera and capable of ideating, writing, directing, and editing content.
- Confident in communicating with clients and leading creative conversations.
- Strong creative vision with an obsession for detail and storytelling.
- Familiarity with Reels, TikTok, trends, and platform nuances.
- Proven experience managing brand social accounts.
- Strong short-form video skills (Reels, TikTok) and excellent writing skills for engaging captions.
Preferred Qualifications
- College education preferred.
- Experience using AI tools (like ChatGPT) to enhance the creative process.
