Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers.
- Document care administration in the patient record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor the therapeutic response.
- Notify the provider and intervene appropriately in the event of an adverse medication response.
- Deliver exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests.
- Anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the medical condition, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
- Translate complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- No previous experience needed
- Some travel may be needed for training
Preferred Qualifications
- Mentoring experience
- 1 year Associate's degree experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology
