In this role as Sales Director, you will be primarily responsible for achieving defined sales targets through effective management of the sales team, as well as supporting the Vice President in staff recruitment, development, and site financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the required sales targets for the site by supporting and motivating staff to achieve performance goals.
- Assist in providing appropriate training, education, and performance monitoring for the sales team.
- Support marketing programs and educate sales staff on the marketing strategies.
- Follow and represent the Company in an ethical, moral, and professional manner with adherence to industry and Company best practices.
- Actively participate in management duties, training sessions, and sales meetings while providing on-site support to sales employees.
- Show integrity by taking responsibility, doing the right thing, and delivering on promises.
- Display leadership by ensuring effective communication, respecting peers and managers, and empowering team members.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Timeshare/Vacation Ownership sales background with experience managing a high-volume sales team.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
- Leadership skills including motivating, coaching, and performance management with effective communication abilities.
- Passion for sales and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Driven, self-motivated, and results-focused approach.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiating skills.
- Ability to recognize financial trends and apply them to the business.
- Flexibility to work the operational hours of the site.
- Timeshare/Vacation Ownership sales experience is essential.
- Must have an Oregon real estate license or the ability to obtain one.
