A Brief Overview: Contributes to the product portfolio for Aetna Dental by conducting market analysis and driving new product development. Provides expertise and thought leadership in strategic planning, market research, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring regulatory compliance and guiding organizational growth. Collaborates with sales to ensure a robust understanding of products and value propositions. Strong Preference for this person to sit in EST or CST.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor market dynamics and trends to develop robust competitive intelligence to inform product strategy.
  • Act as a subject matter expert within the Product Management and Development department supporting segment-specific needs for the target audience.
  • Develop product requirements and roadmaps, incorporating feedback from customers into the product strategy.
  • Partner with distribution and account teams to gather feedback and ensure product solutions drive competitive differentiation.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback, translating insights into deliverables that match customer needs.
  • Develop a long-term vision and strategy for the company’s products, communicating new strategies with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to generate new product ideas based on customer input, cross-departmental studies, and industry trends.
  • Evaluate product concepts and pipeline by assessing demand, ROI, and required effort; support sales teams as the subject matter expert.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop materials that support new product launches and promote the overall value proposition.
  • Assess developmental needs and work with others to implement action plans that foster high-performing teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Product and/or Sales Operations.
  • Health insurance industry experience.
  • Strong analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information for various audiences.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with the capability to interact with all levels of the business.
  • Adept at problem solving and decision-making.
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Growth mindset with agility and a commitment to continual personal and team development.
  • Strong execution and delivery skills in planning, delivering, and supporting initiatives.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Dental Insurance.
  • Experience in product development specifically related to Dental products.

Compensation

The typical pay range for this role is: $67,900.00 - $199,144.00.
This range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary. The actual base salary will depend on factors such as experience, education, geography, and other relevant aspects. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program, and includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
