Sr Mechanical Design Engineering Manager

Position Overview

As a Sr Mechanical Design Engineering Manager at Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS), you will play a crucial role in shaping the design strategy and direction for our global energy and sustainability solutions. You will lead a team of designers, driving the development and implementation of innovative and user-centered design solutions for our customers across industries. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design goals and requirements, ensuring that our products are visually appealing, intuitive, and meet the needs of our customers. You will report directly to our Engineering Director.

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Schedule: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of designers to create innovative and user-centered design solutions
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to define design goals and requirements
• Develop and implement design strategies and guidelines
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality design solutions that meet user needs and business objectives
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• Experience Required: Minimum of 12 years of experience in design, with significant leadership experience
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in design tools and software
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
