Position Overview

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FULL-TIME NURSE TO JOIN THE TEAM!!! Family owned and operated long term care facility in the heart of downtown Stockton needs you to make this the best facility in town! Under new leadership with a recent facility wide wage increase, our 99 bed facility with a diverse demographic of residents could use your compassion and skills. The right candidate would possess an unencumbered RN license in the state of California; no experience necessary. Best Pay in Town! Hourly Rate is negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patients’ needs are met in accordance with standards, physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.
  • Participate and assist in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
  • Utilize the Quality Life Manual for the identification, placement, and monitoring of patients.
  • Notify other departments of patient changes (e.g., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge) promptly.
  • Conduct family and patient education as needed.
  • Administer medications and treatments in a timely manner per facility policy.
  • Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders as allowed by the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Make rounds with physicians when necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently licensed as an RN in California.
  • Clinically competent with a demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
