Our Project Engineer Career Development (PECD) program offers in-field learning and development, preparing our team members for future roles in project management, estimating, construction management, and more. This role is primarily an in-office position based in Hawthorne, NJ, supporting New York Building Envelope’s work on high rise structures and specialized repair techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain proficiency in scheduling and production rate tracking
- Develop skills in estimating and budgeting, including project cost control
- Assist with safety management and quality control on job-sites
- Support business development and client relations initiatives
- Coordinate field resource management and in-field operations
Required Qualifications
- • Education: Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- • Cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher
- • Minimum of one relevant internship experience
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- • Exceptional documentation and organizational skills
- • Aptitude for solving problems
- • Reliable transportation from the office to job-sites
